A rare, good condition, quality mahogany folding field camera ,8 x 10 inch format of about 1890 - 1900 with 2 matching original double dark slides.The original leather bellows are good with a few fine leather repairs to some scuffed and pin holed corners. The camera back is a rare Thornton Pickard roller blind shutter but only the mechanism survives as the blind has been totally removed; however a T/Pickard lens mounted working roller blind shutter is supplied along with the unmarked 12 in focus brass lens with smooth f stop iris and clear fungus free optics.
