I am letting go of a collection of hundreds of cameras collected over the past almost 50 years. The cameras date from the 1850s through about 1910. There are wet plate, dry plate, detective, subminis, stereo and more. Take advantage of these being available as it is a rare opportunity to grow your collection. You are not likely to see such a variety of quality, rare cameras, reasonably priced, available in one place again. This item, offered for your consideration, is a beautiful antique detective camera or camera in disguise. It was bought at Bievres, France around 1990 and was offered as having been made around 1890. There is a tag inside that reads BARNET RueSaint Guiles, Paris; perhaps the distributor. Impressive, scarce, simple little disguised camera. Makes a great display. Please look at the photos carefully. They are part of the description. The 35mm film cassette is only for size perspective and is not included. May not be able to ship to Germany. They weren't in business very long according to one source I found saying they started around 1894 and only lasted until about 1907.The camera does not

eBay This is a very rare camera and we believe less than 5000 were ever made. To find one with the roll film adapter makes it even more rare, especially in this condition. This camera would be a great addition to any collection and a real treasure to own and display. See all 14 photos and condition notes above.
